Urban Cowboy

Mar 15, 05:16 PM

It was around noon the other day—the sun was shining, it was warm, and I was just going through my normal day of catering sandwiches and fruit. When suddenly, in the corner of my eye, I saw a black man wearing a cowboy hat and western clothing. He was riding a horse down the center of 18th Street going north towards Market. He then impatiently stopped at the light, trying to keep the horse calm. The loud sirens and taxies beeping didn’t help.

What made it funnier was watching everyone’s reaction. It was lunch time, so everyone was out. People started pointing, and for a moment you couldn’t hear any voices. Then the light turned green, and the man yelled “HE YA!” and then rode off across Market unbelievably fast. And then he was gone, and the people were just left with wonder, hope, and their dreams.

"The Rooster"

Feb 28, 05:58 PM

I saw “the rooster” today on the side of the road. He was pecking at the road looking for food. I understand that it may not seem like a big deal, but when it’s on Main Street Manayunk, well man, thats kinda cool. If i had my choice of animal to see on the side of the road randomly it would be a Frigate

Love is a Dodge Neon

Feb 15, 01:01 AM

Well happy Valentines Day. I learned a lot about love today. It all started with the snow and ice. If they didn’t come I would have never learned how wonderful my dodge Neon is.

I saw many a truck on the side of the road, and when I drove past them I thought to myself “this can’t be true. Has everything I thought about my 98 Dodge Neon not true? Is it really the warrior of the road? It’s then, that I realized that, I love my Dodge. Sorry for all I said.
